AMERICAN XEROGRAPHY IN COLOUR BY MATT MARTIN
American Xerography in Colour is the first major publication from photographer Matt Martin. The work was made over 2 months driving solo across 30 states of North America in 2018. The project was a lead on from a handmade BxW publication made in 2017 called American Xerography, which focused on the west coast of America.
The work is a document on the imprint of what Americans would leave behind if they were to no longer exist on the land, with a focus on looking at the natural and man made landscape. The photographs were made on 35mm film, then printed on a colour xerox, re scanned and then printed on a litho four colour printer.
self published, England, 2020. 52 pp., 11½x15".
